Doris Care Services Inc. COVID-19: Information and Updates
The health and well-being of our staff and residents is our number one priority.
We are taking precautions to protect all clients, staff and the general public, by using an abundance of caution to ensure that our staff protect all working environment in the wake of COVID-19 Delta Variant of Concern (VOC).
Doris Care Services Inc. staffing services will continue, as the Chief Medical Officer of Health has issued a directive mandating hospitals, home and community care service providers to have a COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees, staff, contractors and volunteers.
Our COVID-19 Safety Plan outlines the policies, guidelines and procedures we have implemented to help eliminate, and where elimination is not possible, reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure among Doris Care Services Inc. staff and clients.
This Safety Plan addresses the current operating status of Doris Care Services Inc. We will regularly review this Safety Plan and update it as work processes change or as we implement new orders from Provincial Health Officers (PHO) or Medical Health Officers (MHO), this Safety Plan applies to all Doris Care Services Inc staff, management, supervisors, front-line personnel as well as our clients and care homes residents. With the increasing COVID-19 Delta variant case numbers, growing client demand for vaccinated staff, and in collaboration with our clients, we are transitioning towards making COVID-19 vaccination mandatory for all our team members. A staff is considered fully vaccinated when they have received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Doris Care Services Inc. is committed to doing our part to help slow the spread of this virus, when possible, we encourage mask wearing, hands washing and social distancing, as recommended by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
